Capture and correct
Scan with the camera or import selected photos. Automatic page detection, crop, perspective correction and enhancement do the first pass. Adjust crop, rotation or appearance when a page needs attention; original captures are preserved.
Review multiple pages
Check the batch before saving. Jump between page previews, reorder or remove pages, retake a page or add more. Keep an unfinished scan as a draft and return to it later.
Organise and export PDFs
Name your PDF, keep it in the local Library and organise with folders and favourites. Search titles, PDF filenames and folder names. Share a PDF or save a copy to a location you choose.

Your files stay on your device
Core scanning, correction, review, PDF creation and local organisation work without an account or internet connection. Files leave the private Library only when you choose to export or back them up.
Backup is optional and separate from scanning. You can create an encrypted portable backup; keep its recovery code separately. Google Drive and iCloud backup depend on provider setup in the app build and your explicit choice. They require network access and are not promised as available at launch.
Deleting the app or its data can lose your Library. Keep exported PDFs or a recoverable backup outside the app before doing so. Read the recovery guide.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I delete the app?
The private Library can be lost when the app or its data is deleted. An exported PDF is a readable copy; a portable backup needs its recovery code to restore. Device or cloud backup should not be assumed to protect the Library. Check recovery before deleting anything.
Do I need an account or a connection to scan?
No account or connection is needed for the core scan-to-PDF workflow. Sharing to an online destination or using an optional configured backup provider can require a connection.
Can I search the text inside a scan?
Library search matches document titles, saved PDF filenames and folder names. OCR text recognition and searching inside document contents are not part of this preview.
Which platforms can I use Page Tidy on?
iOS is planned; a public store link will be added when that platform’s release is confirmed.
Android is planned; a public store link will be added when that platform’s release is confirmed.
What if a scan is interrupted or storage is full?
Free space for the original pages, previews and PDF, then reopen the app and let local recovery finish. Keep the draft while recovering. Read the troubleshooting steps.
